Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes and India’s cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu might come on board as special guests and wild card entry in the television reality show Bigg Boss 5, which began on Sunday, October 2.
Media reports had earlier claimed that both Sidhu and Rhodes will be among the 13 contestants in the show, along with the 19-year-old Mumbai model Poonam Pandey, who is known for posting semi-nude pics on her Twitter account supporting the Indian cricket team.
Earlier, Rhodes had expressed that he is looking forward meet model Poonam Pandey.
“Let’s hope I get to see Poonam Pandey, but by all accounts she is still in hiding from the Indian cricket team,” said the 42-year-old.
Replying to Rhodes’ eagerness to see her, Poonam had replied, “Jonty Rhodes is n was a Gr8 Fielder, Heard he has Started Fielding for Me! But even being a Gr8 Fielder he is Gonna Miss this Catch! LoL”
The reality show began on October 2 with 13 women contestants locked up with Bollywood baddie Shakti Kapoor. The other list of contestants include: Actress and TV host Pooja Bedi, actress-singer Raageshwari Loomba, actress Shraddha Sharma, celebrity transgender and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi , Charles Sobhraj's wife Nihita Biswas, actress Mahek Chahal, model and actress Shonali Nagrani, model-VJ-actress Pooja Mishra, TV actress Juhi Parmar, Indian wrestler Sonika Kaliraman, Miss Afghanistan 2003 Vida Samadzai, Gulabi Saphera and Mandeep Bablee.
Also, boxing great Mike Tyson, latin singer Shakira and Spanish actress Barbara Mori, who appeared in the 2010 Bollywood film ‘Kites’, are expected to enter the house on wild card entries, reports said.
Superstars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are the co-hosts of the show.
